Time Wise Institute®
[ Registration Calendar | Who's Been Trained? ]
The Time Wise Institute®, located in Melbourne, Florida is a full service facility that is specifically tailored for training, train-the-trainer and facilitated mentoring programs. During the year Time Wise senior practitioners instruct groups of up to 20 people in the principles of Lean, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen rapid improvement event, supply chain and sustainment technologies. Courses are structured to admit both “open enrollment” participants as well as customer specific training events. Our clients frequently enroll in one or more Time Wise training events to enhance their employees understanding of Lean or to develop advanced skills in Lean implementation and sustainment.
Time Wise also offers its Time Wise® Center for Lean Excellence Certification Program via the Time Wise Institute® as well as at customer’s sites. The Time Wise® Center for Lean Excellence Certification Program is based on the Toyota Product System’s principles of Lean and utilizes the full Time Wise Solutions’ suite of Lean education, training, implementation and sustainment products and technologies. The Certification Program is a three-level, progressive journey where participants achieve increasing levels of Lean knowledge, practitioner experience and professional development.
A Lean Culture is only achieved when an organization can effectively weave together four key principles.
1. Education
2. Training
3. Sustainment
4. Workforce Recognition and Certification
Industry analysts agree that more than three-quarters of a Lean journey is about people. Organizations today can create an enduring Lean Culture by providing the workforce with their own, internal path to Lean certification. The Time Wise™ Certification Program is unique from all other certification programs because our approach builds the culture by thoroughly developing each individual team member.
Today’s highly competitive marketplace demands that organizations offer their workforce with challenging educational and training opportunities that support a progressively more responsible and active career path. To meet that challenge and provide clients with services that will maximize and sustain the return-on-process improvement from each Lean project the Certification Program is targeted to people who work in manufacturing operations; service industries; and the healthcare sector.
