The Time Wise® Institute is a training academy for internal champions and independent consultants who wish to learn how to effectively use the industry recognized Time Wise Solutions® suite of performance improvement products. Train-the-Trainer courses are designed to rapidly transfer best practice methods with keys to success and pitfalls to avoid.
After completing the Time Wise core curriculum at the Institute, the independent consultant or participant shadows seasoned practitioners in the field and then is, in turn, is shadowed using the Time Wise tools. Upon successful completion of this cycle, an independent consultant or participant is certified as a "Top Gun" Lean practitioner. Top Guns enjoy nationally recognized prestige and are given opportunities to deliver Lean projects to Time Wise clients.
The Time Wise Institute offers a Lean "Champion" Certificate - a completely integrated and self-contained educational program of five (5) eight-hour courses designed to simulate real world work environments and demonstrate, through hands-on experience, the benefits of becoming a Lean enterprise.

The Time Wise® Institute can train you to fulfill three different roles:
CONSULTANT TRAINER:
As a consultant trainer for Time Wise Solutions®, we contract with you to teach classes we arrange with our clients. You are paid per day of training, at a very competitive rate. Consultant ratings deliver Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum status with a scale of requirements and benefits in achieving each level.
FRANCHISEE:
By licensing our products, you can become a reseller of the Time Wise® suite of tools, teaching your own clients at your own rates.
INTERNAL CHAMPION:
Full knowledge transfer of Program Implementation with Consultants and Franchisees.

The Time Wise Suite of Lean Products qualifies for inclusion in the 80 hours of Training, Education and Development towards the Society of Manufacturing Engineers' (SME) Bronze, Silver and Gold Levels of Lean Certification. Trainees with minimal prior Lean work experience that successfully complete Time Wise Training have the option of applying to the Society of Manufacturing Engineers for certification at the Bronze Level. Lean Practitioners with a dossier establishing prior Lean work experience are eligible to take the Silver or Gold exams upon submitting an application to SME.

> Certification Process
Time Wise Solutions uses a certification process to certify Top Gun Trainers--experts using the Time Wise suite of products. The idea behind our certification process is not to teach you what you already know. Rather, the process helps an individual become adept at using our particular standardized approach, methodology and Time Wise toolset. There are three Levels of Top Gun Certification for each Time Wise product.
What can you expect as a Top Gun? You can expect to become part of the Time Wise Solutions National Delivery Team. We will be happy to use your services on a regular basis for delivery at our National Account clients.
LEVEL 1: TRAIN-THE-TRAINER
Level 1 is awarded to anyone who has successfully completed the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) course for a particular Program Level. Special exceptions can also be made on some TTT courses, based on an individual's education and Lean implementation experience. After successful completion of a product's TTT, the individual can move on to Level 2.
LEVEL 2: SHADOW
Level 2 requires the individual to shadow an existing Top Gun implementation expert, while delivering the product in the field. This shadowing is available in several states throughout the U.S. on a regular basis. Sometimes an individual may need to shadow several different events in the field, depending on previous education and Lean implementation experience, before becoming ready to move on to Level 3.
LEVEL 3: BE SHADOWED
Level 3 can be made available only after successful completion of Level 2. At this point, the individual must be shadowed by an existing Top Gun Trainer, while delivering the product in the field. Upon successful completion of Level 3, the individual achieves "Top Gun" status.
We understand that each company is unique and that you may have varied training needs. Our Top Gun facilitators are trained to meet your needs by using two principal methods: Train-the-Trainer, or Standard Delivery. Product training is integrated with program implementation and management requirements to offer a complete franchise solution with licensed consultants and internal champions prepared to handle all the demands of client companies in sustaining improvement activities.

Over 25 MEP Centers, nationwide, choose to use the Time Wise Solutions® Products Suite for Standard Delivery with their clients.
We offer in-house Train-the-Trainer classes for your MEP staff if you plan to train at least 15 people. Otherwise, your staff can attend our regularly scheduled Train-the-Trainer classes located at our any of our Time Wise® Institute campuses.
