How the M.O.S.T.® Program Works

Job openings and hiring commitments are secured up-front; qualified referrals are screened for minimum program requirements. Employers interview and make an offer of employment contingent on successful completion of training.
Time Wise M.O.S.T.
Phase 1 - Fast-Track Intensive Training

• 

Intensive 2-week basic manufacturing skills training on board the Mobile Training Unit.

• 

3-D Simulations and self-paced modules

• 

Programmable manufacturing machines

• 

Ends in graduation


Phase 2 - On-the-Job Training (OJT)

• 

An 8-week on-site program

• 

Field engineer assists employer to design a training plan to meet the needs of the manufacturer and the trainee

• 

Use templates to structure the training plan

• 

Train the supervisor in how to oversee OJT

• 

Field engineer meets with supervisor and trainee to make adjustments and address problems

• 

Trainee is fully functional after OJT completion


Phase 3 - Career Mentoring / Retention

• 

4-month long cross-training program

• 

Career guidance, customized career blueprint

• 

Frequency of field engineer visits, depending on trainee's needs
