Manufacturing Extension Partnerships (MEPs) are part of a network of more than 400 business centers throughout the U.S. that are committed to providing small- and medium-sized manufacturers with help and solutions needed to succeed. The nationwide system of MEP centers is linked through the U.S. Department of Commerce - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), with the common goal of strengthening global competitiveness.

Time Wise Management Systems (TWMS), d/b/a Manufacturing Extension Partnership Management Services (MEP MSI), provides management services to more than 250 MEP practitioners in over a dozen offices throughout the U.S. Our MEP Affiliate Centers offer the Time Wise Solutions® world class suite of enterprise tools for implementing industry best practices. Lean principles can benefit any business organization, industry or government agency.

MEP specialists work with a company's management team to identify conditions that impede the ability to become more competitive and prosperous. MEPs solve specific problems from the shop floor to the front office and assess how well each department contributes to overall productivity and profitability. Our MEPs furnish essential tools to optimize performance and provide guidance so that companies can use those tools and systems effectively on their own and sustain the improvement process.

MEP services include Lean Manufacturing and Process Improvement, Supply Chain Integration, ISO 9000/14000, Technology Transfer and Commercialization, Workforce Development, Business Planning and Enterprise Development, Plant Layout, Information Technology Management and International Business Development as well as on-site training with the SupplyPoint® Mobile Training Unit.
