Workforce Development
Workforce Development is the first step in building a Lean Culture in the Time Wise Five Pillars philosophy. Lean Culture is only obtained when an organization is committed to workforce development through the provision of educational and training, immediately followed by application via Lean process improvement activities. Time Wise workforce development products close the gap between "knowing" and "doing." Workforce development is the foundation upon which the workforce can be mobilized to address specific problems through more advanced lean training and processes.
Distance Learning courses provide a broad education to everyone in the organization. This knowledge foundation builds grass roots support for and an understanding of Lean culture.
Lean Awareness Training and Simulations challenge employees to apply learned Lean principles in a “hands on” scenario. By connecting theory to practice, employees can more quickly identify how they can put Lean principles to work in their own environment.
Team-Based Problem Solving training provides employees with tools to identify an actual improvement opportunity and quickly mobilize as a team to resolve a problem. The result is a measureable Return on Investment for the company.
