Time Wise® simulations engage employees and unleash their creativity to apply Lean to their own work environment and processes. Simulations can also be customized to your organization to enhance employee ownership and relationship to the principles learned.

How Time Wise Simulations work
Each simulation is an accelerated one-day workshop designed to empower participants with an understanding of Lean concepts through a series of interactive presentations and team-based simulation activities by Time Wise facilitators. The concepts are then applied in a live simulation that reflects a realistic work environment. This hands-on format delivers key “ah ha!” insights that are difficult to acquire through traditional learning methods.

Time Wise Lean Training Participants begin each simulation role-playing within an environment representing many of the problems of their current facility– operational and supply issues, travel time, quality, work flow, unnecessary or redundant process steps and administrative “paperwork” issues. Following completion of each exercise, metrics capture and analysis, new scenarios are introduced and participants are challenged to improve them by employing Lean methods. Teams implement improvements themselves, developing their team-building and problem-solving skills.

As the multiple simulation rounds progress, enhanced by additional training on Lean concepts, participants achieve measurable, order-of-magnitude improvements and identify how the concepts relate to their own jobs and their operation as a whole.

Time Wise also provides its clients the ability to license the simulations and tailor and brand them for the specific end user. Licensing programs are flexible and are based on a participation – train-the-trainer/mentoring model.

Time Wise training can on occur on-site at a client’s facility or at the Time Wise Institute in Florida.
