Workforce Recognition Certification Program
Lean Steward
The Lean Steward first level certification program emphasizes Lean education and training. This level is ideal for participants who are relatively new to Lean principles or for organizations that require building Lean teams. A Lean Steward certification requires successful completion of either a Time Wise® LeanPro, or Time Wise® LeanPro Healthcare distance learning course and participation in a Time Wise Principles of Lean Awareness one-day simulation training event.
A simulation event can be scheduled at an organization’s facility or can be attended at a scheduled Time Wise Institute training event. After successful completion of a Lean Steward program, a participant will be able to:

Demonstrate an understanding of the entire suite of Toyota Production System techniques.

Understand how Lean tools and methods can be applied within their organization.

Participate effectively in continual improvement events.
